A Dream

In the 5th book of John Milton’s Paradise Lost, Eve dreams she eats the Forbidden Fruit and has a psychedelic journey into outer space…then wakes up and is relieved it wasn’t real (Spoiler Alert).

I tried to capture a sense of wonder and fear in my song based on the poem, entitled A Dream, which included channeling Erik Satie on a piano solo.
